According to several U.S. media, the marriage of Avril Lavigne is facing a serious crisis and their separation may be being processed in court. Apparently, the distance between their respective professions, both are singers and travel a lot for their tour, has been the catalyst for their separation.
Avril and Deryck Whibley, Sum 41 frontman, announced their engagement in early 2004, a year later became engaged and married on July 15, 2006.
