Avril Lavigne gave an interview with OK magazine, about his new clothing line, Abbey Dawn, cancels show on the Best Damn Tour, rumors of party, blond buzz-only, back-up singers, and much more. This is the Q & A:
* There are a multitude of fans lined up around the site today to see you and meet your new clothing line. How do you feel about it?
It feels like my birthday or something. It is a totally new experience for me - have a multitude of people and really has nothing to do with my music.

* In what way you participated in the design?
I am the designer and the concept obviously came from me. As regards the design goes, I sat down and told everyone what I like and what not, and clothing is basically all I want to use.

* It was important for you to maintain low prices for your clothes?
It is certainly important. The clothes I wear are accessible. I do not really worry to much high end, so almost everything is $ 24 - $ 48 so it really accessible to young people.

* Where does the name Abbey Dawn?
Is the nickname of my father when I was a child. It was my alias name when I started my music career. I used to think that maybe I have a girl and call her Abbey one day, but I have a clothing line first.
* Speaking of which: Are you thinking about having children someday?
Oh God! I do not want to have children for another 10 years. I have yet much to do. Do not know if I could handle a dog now. I'm not so smart. Someday I'm going to be a mom, but not until I'm in my 30.

* It was her second wedding anniversary on July 15. How celebrates with Deryck?
We went at night to our favorite restaurant and had a day and a very romantic night. If I were not on tour right now, I would have gone on vacation to Hawaii or something, but I'm staying at home on the weekends.

* How can you keep a relationship strong when you're on tour for so long?
We communicate via e-mail and talked on the phone. I'm always on my Blackberry. He goes out and visit. I was just in Europe and left for two weeks at the beginning of the tour and two weeks at the end of the tour.

* It is really good, see Deryck around because he's very talented and helps me to give me notes on the show. Then I took voice lessons was like "wait, is the best voice I ever heard." It has a very good ear.
* So when Deryck is not around, how you spend the majority of the dancers on your tour?
I'm very close with some guys from the band and some of the dancers. We come together to hang out. Always end up being friends with dancers, because they spend enough time with me and no one else around.

* A dancer said that you asked that dye their hair brown to be the only blonde on stage. Is that true?
All were brown but one of my favorite girls was blonde, we came across' you you have to have brown hair. It looks good.
I wanted to see my girls really like punk with black hair and this is pretty standard for everyone, like Madonna and Mariah Carey. If they are blond, deveria not see another blonde on stage.
* What you say about the rumors on the internet you, bother you?
Yes, of course, like a human it can be hurtful, but at the same time do not let it affect me because there are more positives than negatives continuing. Chick is surely a Napanee, Ontario can not believe where I am today.
